Kleinhenz Landscape is a full service, Powell based landscape company. Our objective is simple; it is to insure that our clients receive the highest level of service at all times. From the preliminary design stage, through installation and maintenance, our comprehensive landscape capabilities address all of your property needs. Gabe Kleinhenz,
President and CEO
Gabe started his career in landscaping at the age of sixteen while working for a landscape company during summer break from high school. He attended The Ohio State University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Horticulture degree. He also holds an Associate Degree in Landscape Design/Build from Columbus State Community College. In 2005, with a small loan from his father and a handful of tools, he established Kleinhenz Landscape. With focused attention on Professionalism, Quality, Teamwork, and Loyalty, the company has had steady growth each year in business. Gabe continues to develop his skills as a landscaper and entrepreneur by working with an accountability group comprised of other high performing landscape companies from around the country.
Gabe resides in Powell with his wife, Kelly, daughter, Mya and 3 sons, Adam, Brandon and Grant. Gabe enjoys spending time with his family and watching his kids in their different activities.
Shane Murry,
Director of Operations
Shane joined Kleinhenz Landscape in 2006 and has been an integral member since. He holds an Associate Degree in Landscape Design/Build and oversees all of the day to day operations at Kleinhenz Landscape. His astute eye for detail and commitment to excellence allows him to excel in his current position. Shane’s comprehensive knowledge of landscape construction, maintenance, and plant material makes him a valuable asset to our company, team members, and clients. Shane also manages our facility and equipment as well as coordinates all of our snow removal work in the winter. Shane is an asset to our organization in all that he does.
While not at the work, Shane enjoys spending time with his family. Shane married his high school sweetheart and they have 3 beautiful daughters.
Brian Van Voorhis,
Landscape Design & Sales
Brian is the latest addition to the Kleinhenz team. He has designed, sold and directed award-winning landscape installations in the Columbus area for more than 20 years. His unique industry experience spans over three decades and five states to include Estate, Theme Park, Commercial and Residential Landscape Design and Management. He attended Texas Tech and Sandhills Community College and has an Associate Degree in Landscape Gardening and has achieved the Ohio Nursery & Landscape Association’s Master Technician Status.
Brian is an avid outdoorsman. So, when he is not behind the drafting table, he can be found with his wife and daughter on the lake, in the woods, or on the trail.
